Privacy Policy
Stamp Your Say helps people create and send physical letters to public officials. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you use Stamp Your Say, we collect the information needed to prepare and mail your letter. This may include your name, email address, return mailing address, letter text, selected topic, selected tone, and any prompt or context you provide for drafting help.
If you pay for a mailed letter, payment details are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
We may also collect basic technical information, such as browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and error logs, to keep the service secure and working correctly.
How we use information
We use your information to draft, print, prepare, and mail letters to the President, a senator, a representative, or another public office you choose.
We may use your email address to send receipts, order updates, service notices, support replies, and important information about your letter.
If you choose AI drafting help, the prompt, topic, tone, and related details may be processed to generate a draft. You are responsible for reviewing the final letter before it is mailed.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to operate the service. That can include payment processors, hosting providers, printing and mailing vendors, analytics or logging tools, customer support tools, and the public office receiving your letter.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or to investigate misuse of the service.
Mailing and return addresses
Your return address may be printed on your letter and envelope. Public offices often use return address information to process correspondence, screen mail, route messages, and identify duplicate or bulk submissions.
Do not submit a fake return address, someone else's address, or a letter you are not authorized to send.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or financial recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
You may ask us to delete your information. We will honor deletion requests when we can, but some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet service, payment system, or mailing workflow can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Stamp Your Say is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
